To discover how lived, one hundred years ago, the Landlords of the textile colonies of the Llobregat River, can visit the tower of the ancient owners of the colony of Viladomiu Nou
The Tower of the landlord was the residence of the landlords when did stay to the colony and a symbol of his economic and social power. The Tower of Viladomiu Nou was built the year 1902. A century later, can imagine us what meant to control an industrial colony while we stroll for the rooms of the building and go up on top of the turret, since where can enjoy a glorious view of the group of the colony, all a round and the pre-pyrenees mountains.
The visit guided to the Tower includes, also, the entered the exhibition -“Soroll de tellers, soroll de diners” - Noise of looms, noise of money, that allow to enter the students in the knowledge of what was an industrial colony and which meant to live and work – how was the life every day – in a textile colony.
